Started in 2011, POSCO IMP is the first
external startup discovery and incubation
program by a major conglomerate.
It is designed to support the early
discovery and growth of promising startups
and to identify future new businesses
for the POSCO Group.
POSCO IMP serves as the first step in
discovering startups with new possibilities
and sustainable growth.
The program operates in two tracks:
IMP Track 1
Continuous Discovery and
Investment in Promising Startups
- Discovery and incubation through collaboration with POSCO Capital and various university technology holding companies.
- Investment support of around KRW 2 billion from Seed to Series A stages.
IMP Track 2
Business Cooperation with Startups Possessing Excellent Technology
- Selection of startups that fit the demands of the POSCO Group and promotion of business cooperation.
